Spiritual Exercises
"Have we perhaps lost something of the art of listening? Do you leave space to hear God's whisper, calling you forth into goodness? Friends, do not be afraid of silence or stillness, listen to God, adore him in the Eucharist. Let his word shape your journey as an unfolding of holiness." -Benedict XVI
What Are Spiritual Exercises
Spiritual Exercises are an opportunity to retreat from the hectic, noisy world and encounter Jesus Christ in a more profound and personal way. The retreat focuses on the Gospels and the fullness of the Catholic faith, opening the soul to the transforming power of grace. Offered by the Legionaries of Christ, the retreat is based on the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola and is comprised of guided meditations, private reflection, Mass, opportunities for confession and spiritual direction.
